               The 4th Annual Blackburn ITF Challenge

               The first Canadian ITF Taekwon-Do Tournament of the season to help

               prepare our top athletes for the National Selections for the World 

               Championships (Argentina 2009)

Time:

 

          8:00 AM to 8:45 AM - Competitor Check-In

          8:30 AM to 8:55 AM - Black Belt Meeting & Referee Assignments

          9:00 AM to 9:15 AM - Opening Ceremonies & School Recognition

          9:15 AM to 12:30 PM - Color Belt Competition (7 or 8 Rings Running)

          12:30 PM to 1:00 PM - LUNCH BREAK

          1:00 PM - Black Belt Competition Begins (4-Rings Running)

          4:00 PM - Team Competition Begins

          6:00 PM - Competition Closes

          9:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight - PARTY AT BLACKBURN TAEKWON-DO

 

Participation Fees:

 

           $40 Per Applicant (if registered up to November 1, 2008)

           $50 Per Applicant (if registered between November 2 & November 13)

           $45 Per Team (if registered by November 1)

           $90 Per Team (if registered between November 2 or 13)

 

Spectator Fees:

 

               $  5 Per Adult Spectator (ages 15 & Up)

               $  3 Per Child Spectator (ages 5 to 14)

 

SPECIAL TEAM SPARRING EVENT:

 

              We are hosting a Team Sparring Event.  This event will be for the

              following age categies and belt levels:

 

              - Group #1 - Junior Boys (14 to 17 yrs, Black Belts Onlt)

              - Group #2 - Junior Girls (14 to 17 yrs, Black Belts Only)

              - Group #3 - Men's Team (18 yrs & Over, Black Belts Only)

              - Group #4 - Women's Team (18 yrs & Over, Black Belts Only)

 

              Each team will be permitted to have three members and each team

              must have one (1) coach.
